Facebook BRAND DESIGN SYSTEM

After 15 years of focusing on growth rather than brand, Facebook lacked a consistent POV on design and our visual expression had become cluttered and ineffectual as a result.

To solve this, I led the process of creating a comprehensive new design system that would bring the brand strategy to life and instill greater consistency and cohesion across our work. As part of the project we created guidelines and templates that allowed us to rapidly scale the system across the entire worldwide spectrum of Facebook communications, including campaigns, social, events, in-product and more.
